I will now state my artist statement. I have recently become interested in art due to a friend who influenced me into it. How it happened was when my friend showed me a Japanese animation series called "Naruto" which gave an impact to my interest in working with and making art on the computer with programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Flash, and Dreamweaver.
As mentioned above, my main interest in art is making art on the computer. I believe that my major, which is Computer Art, was the perfect choice for me because I am currently enrolled in a class which involves advanced knowledge of the programs that I have listed above. Since I also love to play video games, my wish would be to create my own video game sometime in the future whether it be high-tech or not.
Lastly, the reason I am enrolled in the FND 111 Time Arts class (besides having forced to take it) is because I want to increase my skills with art-related programs by becoming more efficient and knowledgeable. Since I do not know what kinds of programs we will be using in the near future, I cannot say whether I have the confidence to do well yet. However, I will put the best of my ability into any computer work that is required.
