The sounds we heard in class were, in my opinion, very typical as one of them went on for a whole 5 minutes. I thought I should make my sounds different for the Soundscape homework by manipulating them.

When we looked at Chris Burden's work on the Internet, I started to respect him a little more because it looked a lot better than the recordings he had done. I was surprised to hear that Chris Burden and William Wegman were both photographers. I have respect for both of them now.

For John Cage, I was amazed to get to know that three of his movements are performed without playing a single note. I had realized that the reason why we were assigned the Soundscape project was to relate to him in a way of making sounds.

For my Artist Statement, I have nothing to change at the moment.
