These are my responses to the three passages. First is "Notebook: On Activity and Performance." Second is "Meat Joy." Third is "The Printer as an Instrument of Real Time."

1. For "Notebook" On Activity and Performance," I thought the whole passage was talking about what kind of performances there are and what can occur in them when I read for the first time. However, when I looked it over again, I noticed that the author mentioned an artist at the beginning of the passage. This made me assume that the passage was talking about how an artist would draw and what kind of flaws could occur in a way they would talk about an actual performance given in front of a large audience.

2. For "Meat Joy," I did not quite understand what the passage was talking about. The only thought I had about Meat Joy was that it had something to do with the images and drawings of mainly dirty materials just like raw fish, chickens, and paper crap mentioned in the pasage.

3. For "The Painter as an Instrument of Real Time," I can say right off the bat that Kristine Stiles talks about several of Schneemann's artwork, videos, and paintings she has done in her life. Not only does she talk about them but she explains what kind of procedures and processes Schneemann had to go through to produce her work such as comparing her work to other artists.
