The Dual, The Polar, And the Digital:
Honestly, I did not understand what was going on because the passage was talking a variety of things in every paragraph. The general idea that came to mind was how tempting a lottery to people. Therefore, the author used the Babylonians being seduced to play the lottery as an example. I think the way the dual, the polar, and the digital are being used here is the possible results the lottery machine.

The Information Bomb:
The 2 chapters of this passage were clearly different as the first chapter focused more on the evolution of science and how it is somehow taking over the world. The second chapter talks more about globalization and the features of this world. Judging from the title, I assume that the bomb would be the Earth because the features of it is what I think is the information.

Central Conflict Theory:
Obviously, the author is telling this story in first-person view. He talks about one point in his life when he and his friends loved to watch American films. He describes many films throughout the story and mentions on page 12 that he would want a central conflict so that he he would be able to answer a number of practical concerns. What I think he mean here is that he wants to have people critique his films so that he can make improvements to them to capture the attention of the audience and spectators for a good amount of time.

Last thoughts of FND 111 Time Arts:
I overall enjoyed the class although it was on a Friday morning. I learned how to use Macs much more efficiently and learn about the differences between them and PCs. I am also thankful that I had to figure out how to use programs like SoundScape and iMovie instead of being taught how to use them because that allowed me to challenge myself when getting assignments done using them.
